A club set from Sting and his band, Broadway sensation Sara Bareilles singing at a steakhouse, an intimate evening at the piano with Gregory Porter – not a game of fantasy gigs but a real-life private event in Philadelphia powered by Proper.
The guests – 200 politicians, policy makers and opinion formers – had been gathered by a billionaire philanthropist host for three days of wide-ranging talks, debates and discussions on the topic of ‘A World In Flux’ so the entertainment needed to be suitably heavyweight.
Proper worked with old friends Sound Advice to seek out the perfect local venues, and solve their unique production challenges (this was far from standard fare for a comedy club, a restaurant and an art gallery). The event was such a success that it’s now become a biannual gathering.
